MLSS - Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids

Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids (MLSS) is the concentration of suspended solids in an aeration tank during the activated sludge process. Monitoring MLSS gives insight into the quantity of active biomass available to consume the applied quantity of organic pollutant at any time.

Olpas sensors for water treatment are especially used for challenging measurement: high loads (ex. influent or activated sludge), or a wish for exceptional drift resistance with longer maintenance windows.

Industrial Water

Industrial Water

In industrial processes, inline ultrasound TSS measurements ensure precise control of slurry and wastewater. The unparrallled fouling resistance and the hot-tap mounting support boost efficiency.
