Dry solids in Iron Sludge and Iron Slurry
Measuring Dry Solids (dry matter) in iron sludge / iron water for mining applications and for water applications (drink water production)
Monitoring TSS in Sewers and Overflows
TSS (Total Suspended Solids) is the most important water quality indicator. Olpas’ industry-leading fouling resistance makes measuring TSS economically manageable in challenging environments like sewers, overflows, CSOs, and remote open waters.
Suspended Sediment Concentration (SSC)
Thanks to the extended maintenance intervals, Olpas sensor for sediment concentration monitoring (Suspended Sediment Concentration or SSC) provide a cost-effective and IoT-ready solution for remote monitoring of sediment load in open waters and canals.
TSS concentration
Total Suspended Solids (TSS) is the portion of not dissolved solid particles suspended in water.
This includes organic and inorganic materials, such as silt, decaying matter, industrial wastes, and sewage.
Sludge Concentration (Solids concentration in sludge)
The Olpas Sludge Concentration sensors offers a cost-effective measurement with maintenance intervals that are four times longer compared to optical sensors.
TSS in dewatering centrate
Measuring Total Suspended Solids (TSS) in dewatering centrate is a challenging task, but the innovative OLPAS ultrasound measurement technology makes it achievable, providing valuable insights into the dewatering process's effectiveness.
MLSS (activated) sludge concentration
Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids (MLSS) is the concentration of suspended solids in an aeration tank during the activated sludge process, which is a key parameter to monitor the active biomass.
Dry Solids in Sludge Cake (%DS)
Dry Solids measurement for Dry Cake, measuring sludge cake density in concentrations from 10 - 40 %DS. There are inline sensors available, and sensors with a sample-grabbing device.
High Solids Concentration Measurement
Available for inline measurement (with the sensor in direct contact with the fluid or paste) and as a clamp-on (for measurement through the pipe).
For high solids concentrations up to 60 %DS.
Polymer concentration in watertreatment & effluent
Polymers are aded during the watertreatment process to enhance the removal of suspended solids and other contaminants. Olpas sensors help monitoring polymer-concentrations during the process and in even in effluent.
Polymer concentration in centrate
Monitoring residual polymers in centrate is crucial for optimizing the dewatering process. The Olpas sensor provides a reliable measurement of this hard-to-measure parameter, even in dewatering centrate.
