MLSS - Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids
Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids (MLSS) is the concentration of suspended solids in an aeration tank during the activated sludge process, which is a key parameter to monitor the active biomass.
We measure MLSS in the range of 0-20 g/L.
Measurements in the range of 0-100 g/L are available too.

Water monitoring: Suspended Sediment Concentration (SSC)
Olpas SSC sensors use a novel proprietary 3-8 Mhz Accoustic Backscattering measurement technology for an exceptional wide coverage of particle sizes for its concentration measurement. The sensors are pre-calibrated, drift-resistant and require very few maintenance.
OTD-SDPB
TSS in dewatering centrate (with centrate pump and flowcell)
An easy to install end-to-end measurement solution with limited impact of air-bubbles and exceptional fouling resistance thanks to ultrasound measurement technology. For measuring TSS in concentrations from 0 - 2.000 mg/L.
The device consists of a sample grabber (centrate pump) and flow-cell.
OTD-SDPC
Residual Polymers in dewatering centrate (with centrate pump and flowcell)
An easy to install end-to-end measurement solution with limited impact of air-bubbles and exceptional fouling resistance thanks to ultrasound measurement technology. For measuring polymer concentrations.
The device consists of a sample grabber (centrate pump) and flow-cell.

Sludge Cake Concentration - Grabbing Solution and Sensor
The Olpas sludge concentration measurement system consists of a dataprocessor and ultrasound transducer, with a sample grabber. The system is capable of measuring sludge in concentrations from 0 - 40 %DS.
The Olpas ultrasound technology provides a fouling-resistant measurement of the sludge concentration, independent of sludge type or morphology.
