A feedback control system based on centrate or fitrate concentrations allows for compensating any errors in the forward control of the dewatering plant. Such errors arise due to changing properties of sludge, polyelectrolyte and/or equipment such as pumps and flowmeters. That's why Olpas has developed solutions for centrate/filtrate monitoring as feedback control.
